Developed in East Germany in 1984, Ligato was a board game poised for release. However, production was halted abruptly when the political landscape changed following the fall of the Berlin Wall, resulting in the publisher's closure. For decades, only a solitary copy of the game remained.

Almost 30 years later, this once-lost game has been rediscovered and revitalized as Ligato.
